Rochdale By Election

Started by: MrsC (91)

Seems we now have an electorate more bothered about Gaza than local issues . The birth of the Muslim Party perhaps ?

Labour have themselves to blame for not fielding another candidate after withdrawing its support for a selected candidate who had made anti semitic comments against the Jewish people over Gaza.

It has resulted in a anti-semitic politician and obvious anti-semitic Muslim political movement supporting the terrorist Hamas organisation being elected to our democratic Parliament.

Our country needs to wake up!

No,,, the deadline for candidates to stand at the election was the 2nd February, after which the ballot papers and postal votes are printed and the postal votes are sent out, so there was no time to change the names on the ballot papers.

Posters should be more interested in reading the Wiki and Working Party for Britain websites about what they stand for instead of making cheap remarks at anyone who dares to say anything about the Labour Party, especially when a spokesperson of the party has more or less admitted that the party had cocked up in its selection of its candidate prior to the 2nd of February deadline.

With a general election coming, what was a safe Labour seat has turned into a seat for a anti-semitic racist MP and party no different to that of the BNP and NF!

Like Whups has said, a bad day for politics!

George Galloway is a nobhead, of that there is no doubt, but he is entertaining though, so he will liven up Parliament, I liked his comment when he said that Rishi Sunak and Kier Starmer, were both cheeks on the same bum

I've no doubt the Tories are more than happy to make the next election election about racism because they nothing else to offer after their pathetic performance over the last 15 year

So now Galloway has pledged to field candidates in areas with large Muslim populations and says he will topple Rayner from Ashton u Lynne.

This is politics conducted on racial/religious terms . No matter what his party is called it is in essence the Muslim Party .

MrsC

I share your concerns, but I think at the next general election, it will just come down to the usual two party politics, and be basically a choice between Conservative and Labour.
